Our Stay in Uk

Many things happened on our way to this place. One of which was the cancellation of the flight which forced us to take a night at Golden Peacock Hotel. We left that place early in the morning and boarded the 10:30 flight to Nairobi via Lusaka. We left Nairobi at 10:40pm and arrived in Netherlands at 05:10am. At 9:25am we left Netherlands for Glasgow. We were welcomed by a very cheerful group of friends from St Matthews Academy. Imagine these are the people who have never seen us before but they were so cheerful beyond our expectation. Later in the day we were taken to Celtic Park for a match between Celtic and Dundee. It was a very exciting game that one could not miss. Celtic won 3 to nil.  Sunday, we had to tour part of Glasgow and attended mass. Later in the afternoon we were taken to a museum and then to Glasgow University. Yesterday, I had to address 5 assemblies along Fr. Phillip. We toured the campus and later students had to attend classes. We had a brief  chat with the Head Teacher. Today we are to officially see him on Partnership Agreements and then we will meet the Guidance Teacher. In the afternoon we are to tour the associated primary schools. Greeting to all not forgetting my daughter Lilian and son Lawrence Koko. I miss U people! Ken

  1. Delighted you all arrived safely. We told you it would be an adventure! We have loved looking at the photos; you all look so happy. It was difficult to recognise you all instantly under the layers of heavy clothes. Enjoy the Scottish weather......brrrrr!

  2. It's wonderful to hear you all arrived safe and sound, eventually. Hope you are enjoying the experiences in Scotland and are getting used to "Scottish time".
